Most L1s reward people who already have machines or money.
@MarsChainDAO does the opposite. You burn first. Then you get the right to produce blocks.

While reading it I kept asking one thing:
can a newcomer compete here without buying hardware?

Proof of Contribution is the base.
Burn $MARS get a permanent Contribution Rate. That rate decides your share of block rewards. No mining rig. No lockup. You enter by contributing, not by buying equipment.

They also try not to freeze early users on top forever.
In static conditions the protocol targets a coin-based ROI anchor of about 188 days. When total hashrate grows, r(t) changes the burn-to-hashrate ratio. Late people are not supposed to stay stuck at the bottom.

Burns are not just marketing talk. There are two real triggers.
👉 Christmas Protocol: 25–31 Dec, 8 days, 35% of circulating supply burned, plus hashpower multipliers if you join.
👉 Oracle Protocol: price drops 50% from peak and stays there 7 days, then another 8-day window. Same 35% circulating burn and extra multipliers. A dump becomes a contribution event.

Mining identity is an ERC-1155 NFT. One NFT, one mining passport, you can run your own pool.

Referrals add 50% hashrate at level 1 and 25% hashrate at level 2, without cutting the friend's hashrate.

Supply cap is 200 billion. Rewards halve every 448 days. Split is 75% miners, 25% validators.

So it is not “spend more, mine more.”
It is burn to contribute, then keep the economy from getting locked by early players.

I made a product video for Gamma using @Pexoai_offical, and the first cut wasn't the final one.

What I actually did:

→ Built a presentation in Gamma, shared its screenshots with Pexo, and asked for a product demo

→ Reviewed Pexo's concept and the opening segment before it built the rest

→ Gave feedback in chat: slide text readability, clean cropping, end-card wording, and showing more of the Gamma interface

→ Used Mark to Fix to circle a slide that was too small in the fram

→ Refined it until I was happy with the final cut

What stood out: it showed me the opening segment first, and I could point at a specific frame to say what needed fixing.
