👏🏻 Applause to the author for giving us a redemption arc where the character is truly suffering the consequences of his own actions, to the point where he feels completely lost and unable to see a way out of the situation.
Mokyeon is suffering, and he’s suffering a lot. He isn’t eating, he’s practically only drinking, and you can see him sinking deeper and deeper. His situation is genuinely becoming worrying.
And even though it hurts to see him like this, this is exactly what I ask for when we talk about a real redemption arc. I don’t want two tears, one sad scene, and then everything magically gets fixed. I want regret, consequences, and for the character to truly understand the weight of everything he did.
That being said, I NEED Nanjo’s POV. We’re seeing how much this separation is destroying Mokyeon, but we still don’t know what’s happening on the other side. What is Nanjo thinking? How is he dealing with everything? How does he feel after deciding to cut ties with him?
Because something tells me Mokyeon isn’t the only one suffering. 😭
@guiltpleasure Do you plan to come back to France someday? To the Ycon convention in Montreuil, for example? Taifu, the publishing house that releases your work in France, takes part in it. 😊
