I might be wrong - But this new Social Media Ban for 16 year olds, actually means WE then HAVE TO PROVE we are over 16?? This means we have to use digital ID anyway now if we want to stay on here?
Under Keir Starmer's govt, 16 year olds will be legally able to have sex and get the right to vote, but they won't be allowed to buy a pint or watch YouTube after 8.30pm.
Okeydokes, that seems perfectly sensible.
Starmerโs ban on social media isnโt a ban for 17 year olds and below.
Itโs a ban for the entire population, until you identify yourself and link your social media to your ID.
It was never about protecting children.
๐จ THEY CAN'T CONTROL THE BORDERS. BUT THEY CAN CONTROL YOU.
The government cannot stop the boats.
Cannot stop the hotels filling up.
Cannot stop the public anger.
Cannot stop the protests spreading from city to city.
But it can ban social media.
Interesting.
Because when governments begin losing control of events, they often become increasingly interested in controlling information.
Millions of people are worried about immigration.
Worried about crime.
Worried about the future of the country.
Yet instead of addressing the concerns driving that anger, the political class appears increasingly focused on regulating what people can see, hear and say online.
The public is beginning to ask a simple question:
Why is controlling access to information suddenly more urgent than controlling Britain's borders?
That question is not going away.
In fact, it is getting louder by the day.
This is simply not true @Keir_Starmer.
You absolutely DO tolerate abhorrent scenes of violence like this attack. Just like you tolerate all the rapes and sexual assaults of women and girls by illegal migrants.
You - and most of the political class - decided long ago that these crimes are a price worth paying in return for achieving your multicultural, diverse, open bordered nirvana.
So don't pretend to be shocked and don't wring your hands in sadness. This is the predictable (and predicted) result of the policies YOU support.
Good morning everyone. Hope you slept well. Make yourself a coffee. Do not notice the beheadings. Have a safe journey to work. All is well with our totally normal world.
Wait so Sikhs are allowed to carry a literal knife on a plane - but I couldnโt carry my big bottle of shampoo for โsafety reasonsโ
Absolutely mad
If it wasn't for X, I wouldn't even know about the incident in North Belfast. No other news channel or site has even reported it other than one in Australia.
@GMB Are you not reporting on the horrific incident that happened last night in Northern Ireland then or? Involving an illegal trying to behead a man? Let me guess, doesnโt suit your narrative.
I'm watching the D Day service in Normandy on GB News.
I can't help but wonder how those old heroes must feel when they look at the state of our country today.
Their generation gave so much.
@Keir_Starmer And look at us now.
Governed by a wannabe communist whilst being invaded by third worlders.
They would be sick if they saw the state of the uk today
They would look at the country today and you in particular and say:
"What on earth did we sacrifice our lives for?"
"Why are our children and grandchildren 2nd class citizens in their own country?"
They laid down their lives so politicians like you can give it all away to people that have never contributed a penny to this country.
You owe them an even bigger debt than the rest of us.
@Keir_Starmer "I see in my minds eye those rows and rows of white stones. All of the hundreds of my friends and everybody else that gave their lives.
For what? The country of today?
No, I'm sorry, the sacrifice wasn't worth the result that it is now."
He felt that way because of men like you.
