Shantel Nekesa, six year old from Kirinyaga was on Monday 18th May 2026 picked by an unknown man shortly after leaving school and five days later, Shantel is yet to be seen.

The man was captured on CCTV camera buying two cakes from a shop while holding Shantel's hand.

The family is seeking help in finding their daughter.

Mazda SkyActiv engines are among the most fuel-sensitive engines in the mass market right now. The high compression ratios in the SkyActiv-G petrol and SkyActiv-D Diesel engines, make them more vulnerable to low quality fuel, contamination or blend changes than most conventional engines. A bad tank of fuel in a SkyActiv engine is not just an inconvenience. It can cause knocking, injector damage and in serious cases carbon buildup that is expensive to reverse.

@alexmwanzo If you are seeing something specific with the current fuel supply, whether it is a contamination issue, an ethanol content change, a quality drop at specific stations or something else entirely, that information needs to be shared to help our mazda community in East Africa.
