@UberEats please explain to me how I can’t get refunded for an order that I cancelled within 30 seconds of placing? I tried calling support and explaining with no luck. Is that the level of support you give to Uber-One members? You’re scamming your customers

@Delta Our flight was first delayed by 3 hours due to IROP, then later cancelled. Me and my wife were booked on a new flight for the following day on flight number DL738 departing at 3:10 PM.

At the airport, Delta representative confirmed cancellation was due to irregular operations and that Delta is taking responsibility. They sent me a link to book a hotel accomodation for the night and transportation from the airport to the hotel and vice-versa, which I used. They also sent me a $30 meal voucher for both me and my wife.

The link to request transportation (Uber) from the hotel to the airport wasn't working (screenshot below), so I had to request one from my own account and paid for it with my own money. For meals, $30 is just isn't enough for 2 people in JFK especially if for those with dietary restrictions. I bough food from my own money for two people (my wife and I) for two meals for a total of $129.

I filed a Reimbursement Request with Delta and unfortunately my request got denied. Delta's reasoning was that the cancellation was weather related, which clearly isn't the case, based on the accomodation Delta already provided, their airport representative confirmation, and the fact that other flights from JFK to LAX operated normally on the same day.
