@clemmygames Working on a untitled dungeon crawler currently, the plan is to make a 5 level demo for it and go from there. Currently building level 3, and it's 99% finished.
Here's a screenshot of one of my many side projects. It's inspiration came from Dreamweb and it's working name is Dreamcatcher. This reminds me of Hotline Miami a bit actually, would you agree?

Big news, I'm pausing my dungeon crawler project and switching to a different idea. I'm also trying to switch my development habits. More info on my blog:

@RyanJ_KOL Yeah, basically you replace your staff each time with more powerful one, and previous staff disappears since it's the ingredient alongside a gem to craft the new staff. Could probably try to see if there's alternative way to do this mechanic
Another new thing on level 3 is going to be first weapon upgrade, there will be rare gems from time to time that can be used to upgrade the staff for better and different elemental damages. First upgrade is shock damage.

Making a game is art. It’s like an extension of you. I really think it’s one of the most vulnerable things a person can do. You tear off a piece of yourself, hold it up to the world and say, “Here’s what I love, and I hope you love it too”.
Takes balls. Keep it up, indies! ❤️
@RyanJ_KOL No idea honestly, I currently just work on content and variety, those are my focus right now. I've never been good on setting a clear plan and keeping at it, I like more "on the moment"-thinking, which probably is a terrible idea but that's just how I do things.
Working on a third level for my game and added the first puzzle, very simple but you gotta start somewhere right?
Thinking about 5 levels total for a demo release, so there's still lot of work left

Some in-engine footage showcasing first map of my game, startup script content (Stuff that happens once you click play on the main menu) and player model, fully hand-crafted
Who said software development is now fully AI-assisted? Not here at least

I've been kinda working on different work-in-progress projects lately, here's one unfinished project where I added second level, slime enemy and gold pickup. This could very well be close to a short demo release actually

Started a new project inspired by Ultima 7. Here's player character and animation testing. I think I need to redo idle animation, not so good. All of this took me about 45 minutes. Gamedev is fun

Every single retweet, like, and comment gives an indie dev like me a real fighting chance against the algorithms.❤️❤️
This week , I’m pouring everything I have into getting MARTHA'S DOLLS 2 in front of more eyes.
I can’t build this dream alone if you have a second to repost or leave a comment, it truly means the world to me. 🧵📷

Prototyping an old project bit further, a dungeon crawler that originally started as an RPG before I reduced the scope. Probably won't finish this but at least I got something to do while planning my next project idea...

#IndieDev do not pay anyone to promote your game. Idc if they have a million subs or followers. Why are you paying for their content? If a content creator enjoys your game they’ll do it for free. A targeted ad is so much more successful.

Coming up with game ideas is hard for me. Needs to be something I'm genuinely interested in, but also doable for a solo developer. And no, I'm not going to ask AI so do not suggest that
