Basic income helps minimizes that as per Manitoba’s Mincone experiment. But it does not fix all. Need Marshall Plan level long view strategy funds for mental health/rehab to fix damages that were already done.

Basic income could have increased economic activity from small business innovation to spending power thus giving GDP boost per Roosevelt Institute study.
