Gold Smuggling Attempt Foiled at IGI Airport, Delhi!

Delhi Customs officers intercepted a passenger arriving from Sharjah on 10.10.2026 and recovered 241 grams of gold (99.31% purity) ingeniously concealed as wire linings in the corners of two trolley bags.

The recovered gold, valued at approximately ₹35.21 lakh, was seized under the Customs Act, 1962, for further investigation.

Delhi Customs remains vigilant in its efforts to curb smuggling and strengthen border enforcement.

ट्रेन में IRCTC के एक वेंडर पर निर्धारित कीमत से अध��क पैसे वसूलने का आरोप लगा। यात्री ने ��ब ₹14 की बोतल के ₹20 मांगे जाने पर सवाल उठाया, तो मामला बहस से बढ़कर तीखी नोकझोंक तक पहुंच गया।

यात्री ने आरोप लगाया कि वेंडर अपनी पहचान छिपाने के लिए वर्दी उतारने लगा। स्थिति बिगड़ती देख अन्य यात्रियों को बीच-बचाव करना पड़ा।

उक्त क्रम में एक सवाल आपसे –
जब बोतल पर ₹14 MRP लिखी है, तो वेंडरों द्वारा ₹20 क्यों वसूले जा रहे हैं? साथ ही लगातार शिकायत मिलने के बाद भी आप द्वारा इनकी लगाम क्यों नहीं कसी जा���ी?

@RailMinIndia से अनुरोध है कि ऐसे मामलों की जांच कर दोषी पाए जाने वालों पर कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए। यात्रियों से मनमाने पैसे वसूलना किसी भी कीमत पर स्वीकार्य नहीं है।
