@MegZeenat
Over a 4 week period, @mindmapperuk x @BritishRedCross were able to create a vulnerable and transparent space for a group of male refugees who have some of the most saddening experiences. In a society where men are almost forced to “suck it up” we are proud to break the cycle 🚀
Inspired by her own difficult experience, Meg champions action in schools, inclusivity and diversity on university campuses and in the workplace. Meg campaigns for the evolution of school curriculums and mental health services and champions young people’s voices in politics.
The KCIL team are excited to hear from our keynote speaker @MegZeenat at our annual conference. Meg Zeenat Wamithi is a global mental health leader and creator of MindMapper UK, a youth-led mental health education provider, to support people with mental health issues.
Over the last two years, Meg's work as the Founder and CEO of @mindmapperuk and as an international educator has seen her recognised as an award-winning mental health leader featuring in the likes of The Guardian, the BBC, The Times, on Channel 5 news and Pride Magazine.
