Everyone wants success.
Everyone wants financial freedom.
Everyone wants the dream life.
But very few are willing to sacrifice comfort, face rejection, stay disciplined, and do the work when nobody is watching.
Everyone wants to go to heaven.
Nobody wants to die.
A quote to never forget:
“If everything you offered was not enough, offer your absence. Sometimes, walking away is the greatest act of dignity and self-respect.”
Mario Benedetti.
Once the words are out, you cannot take them back. Keep them under control. Be particularly careful with sarcasm: The momentary satisfaction you gain with your biting words will be outweighed by the price you pay.
“I did not intend to get rich, I wanted to be independent. I just overshot.”
“It’s amazing how life works out if you just get up every morning and keep plugging, have some discipline and keep learning.”
- Charlie Munger. 2017
Your mind is the starting point of all war and all strategy.
A mind that is easily overwhelmed by emotion, that is rooted in the past instead of the present, that cannot see the world with clarity and urgency, will create strategies that will always miss the mark.
In the future, the great division will be between those who have trained themselves to handle these complexities and those who are overwhelmed by them—those who can acquire skills and discipline their minds and those who are irrevocably distracted by all the media around them and can never focus enough to learn.
During my dark night of the soul, I learned that knowing my ADHD patterns doesn’t fix them overnight. But once I saw them clearly, I stopped fighting myself and finally started working with myself. Awareness was the key. I became solitary, but not lonely.
I repeat this to myself again and again.
On purpose.
Until my ADHD brain locks onto it and won’t let go.
Focus becomes devotion.
Repetition becomes magic.
And somehow… it works.
In this lifetime, you don't have to prove anything to anyone except yourself. The world is a stage, but you are not the performer; you are the architect. Build in silence, rule in private, and let your empire be the only witness to your power.
The "ADHD Brain" doesn't want to focus on boring tasks because it's designed for Creation, not Maintenance.
If you can hyperfocus on a video game for 8 hours, you can manifest a million dollars. You don't need "more discipline"—you need a better Target.
