Romania's presenter at #Eurovision 2022 when she found out she couldn't go live to announce the jury's votes due to "technical problems", while the Eurovision voting supervisor was announcing votes other than the ones Romania had communicated the day before.

@crisan_daria I think EBU is under the impression that the jury in those 6 states have spoken and agreed to vote amongst themselves. But the country Romania wanted to vote for was not even among those sanctioned so it’s weird.

OK so a little #Eurovision drama for you: apparently, the jury vote from Romania was considered fraudulent by EBU and was changed - I understand that happened to other 5 countries. The issue was “irregular pattern votes”. However. EBU didn’t officially name Romania.

@feanoors That is the point, there should not be an issue but apparently EBU thinks so. Also, it’s not like Romania always gave 12 points or vote at all for Moldova. I don’t exclude that EBU is right, but I don’t see why Romania would defraud the vote or why would TVR lie now.

@mrdiscopop Romania too. The presenter was not allowed to get on air, even if she was ready. Romania says EBU didn’t announce the changes, they found out only when the supervisor announced other votes than the ones the jury decided.
