I just saw someone reply to one of my posts and they were a MH "supporter: and they said oh but he does drugs and is an alcoholic so he is an abuser. Love how a lot of her "supporters" are so quick to throw on negative labels without critical thinking and they don't even consider innocent until proven guilty. People often assume that if you struggle with addiction or mental health issues, you’ll eventually become an abuser. This stigma is fucking infuriating and dehumanizing...it ignores the reality that most of these people battling these challenges are trying to survive, not harm others. When people make these fucking assumptions, they’re not just being judgmental; they’re actively contributing to the discrimination and isolation that make recovery even harder for these individuals. Imagine living with mental health issues for a moment...constantly fighting your own mind, or trying to overcome addiction, and on top of that, you’re branded as dangerous or "damaged." Society throws out words like “unpredictable or aggressive,” “untrustworthy,” or even “violent,” casting you aside before you even have a chance to prove otherwise. It’s almost like they’re saying that if you don’t fit into their “normal” mold, you don’t deserve fucking any amount of compassion or respect. People don’t seem to realize the real impact this kind of stigma has or how damaging it can be on someone's mental health. Too many people label people "junkie" or "alcoholic"..."druggie"...""crazy" "delusional"...These assumptions isolate people...even liam talked about how isolated he felt and how that impacted his mental health...try showing some empathy and compassion...and stop with this mob mentality...it only leads to online bullying...keeping someone accountable is not saying every vile name you can think of...placing disgusting labels on him when nothing has been proven. Courts exists for a reason...or are you ok with just being a judge and jury aka willing participate in the bullying? even after someone has died???
