@livb89 @AnnieBrightstar Yes, basically it's screen clutter which is partly why folks prefer the old setup. To know who someone is you have to view both because their display name may have completely changed.

@AnnieBrightstar @livb89 It won't, I'm just explaining why people's attachment to the old username format isn't purely nostalgia. I think display names are great, I use mine, but the username is the consistent identifier so now you need to see both. Back then it was just one name per avi.

@livb89 @AnnieBrightstar As an older user it's not purely nostalgia, but practical. When avatars had one name permanently it was way simpler to identify people with a glance. Now it's a case of remembering Experiment626 is Lilleth who you originally met as Ms Kitteh Bomb & was for time MasterDom's slave

A great short video that sums up red flags to watch out for in a relationship. Abuse doesn't always take the form of physical violence & a relationship being online doesn't mean you're safe from abuse or if it happens it's insignificant.
