28 Aug 2026 - Mum’s oxygen level of blood reached a satisfactory level in 98 after lunch, however it dropped back to 96 after dinner. Her lung inflammation level becomes high, waiting for test results to prescribe medicine. Ready for another battle
26 Aug 2026 - Hasn’t been poo for few days, medics prescribed medicine to fasten it which made mum struggle with the pain in the whole afternoon. I urged nurses to handle it that she finally made it after hours later. What an exhausting mission
24 Aug - her swallowing ability drops rapidly this year which made her suffering pneumonia in multi times. Doctor warned less chance to recover, it shocked me but I turned looking after her at hospital for whole day. Help her eating and make her laughing ❤️

16 Apr 2024 - I booked buffet breakfast at hotel while mum was still sleeping, quietly packed some pastries & boiled eggs for her before setting off to the airport. Uncle Kan urged to leave early to avoid train delay. Returned home safely despite turbulence
15 Apr 2024 - Our trip was coming to an end, missing every corner of here. When we walked farther along the river Thames, I rushed to snap few more pictures as mum urged to head back hotel for a sleep. Uncle Kan would go with us to the airport, god bless us!
15 Apr 2024 - We continued our journey to Tate Modern, mum suggested stopping for a cuppa at Leon. Appreciated the relaxed atmosphere we couldn’t find it in HK. We headed into Tate cafe for a long break. I sneaked out to shooting while mum was taking nap.
15 Apr 2024 - We stopped by Borough Market to buy bread, pastries, orange honey & toffee to HK, also reordered Spanish seafood fried rice for lunch. Stall owners were kind by letting us finished the rice inside their stall while others were told to go away
15 Apr 2024 - Time flew fast since I settled into a routine of morning walks to buy fruits every morning. Earls Court feels like a semi-luxurious community with peaceful environment. Travelling with mum, I was touched by the care from people over the trip.
14 Apr 2026 - We hopped on a bus to Regent’s Park, chasing the last moment of cherry blossom. Mum’s delighted to pose for photos on the bus. We’re greeted by flower bursting everywhere, then popped into Selfridges to taste its cupcakes despite the high price
13 Apr 2024 - Given Coal Drop Yard is close to Camden Town, I was excited to revisit such a nostalgic spot. As the cobble passageways were bumpy for mum’s wheelchair, we left & wandered to the extended riverside to chill out with busking music backed up.
13 Apr 2024 - We explored Coal Drop Yard after passing through St Pancras
for breakfast. A ground fountain where toddlers playing with their parents. Food stalls only accepted electronic payment. With help from a kind-hearted vendor, we got lunch finally
12 Apr 2024 - Hadn’t visited Big Ben for yrs, it drew me to take photos everywhere including Westminster. Mum grew tired to stay longer, we moved on to London Eye which recalled me mum walked with me in 2003 we 1st visited here, now she came on wheelchair
12 Apr 2024 - We took the Overground to Battersea Power Station. Due to the wide gap of the platform, we got a British’s help to lift mum’s wheelchair to board safely into the train. We started with a simple breakfast at Paris Baguette, lunched at Nando but no shopping from there
11 Apr 2024 - We’re excited to discover Eaterly which is a stone’s throw from the market, hurried to taste their tiramisu & croissant as dessert. I was impressed by its spacious dining area with a supermarket next to the cafe with biscuits, chocolates, baked goods & canned foods
11 April 2024 - We ventured down to Spitalfields market on a chilly morning. I settled mum at a table before heading off to buy Thai noodle for our lunch. Mum loved it much by throwing away her donut. We couldn’t find the way to graffiti spots, fortunately captured a lovely babe
10 Apr 2024 - Took a solo trip to nearby South Kensington where I was fascinated by the high-end shops & elegant residences. If I gain permission to walk into the private garden, mum'd be the 1st person I accompany to sit on the bench together everyday.
10 Apr 2025 - As soon as we stepped out of the British Museum, the rainfall forced us to head to restaurant by hailing a black cab. Despite a short distance, we paid £20 for the trip. Rain cleared after lunch, allowed us to continue our trip by tube again.
10 Apr 2025 - We holed up in British Museum under a rainy day & tasted a fragrant mocha & croissant at a cafe. Apart from the awesome Eygptian statues, the bookstore captivated us to linger there for an hour. Mum finally got her favourite toffee as souvenir.
9 Apr 2024 - Grateful to have a security guard led us to Renaissance hotel through a shortcut. We're amazed by a breathtaking lobby under a glass ceiling. Excited to discover the famous staircase, impressed by the tidy restroom which were all unforgettable.
