If the argument is to restrict religious activities to indoors, then it has to be applied consistently not selectively. That would mean limits on loudspeaker azan, Eid and Friday prayers in streets and parks, Rabi ul Awwal processions and decorations, and Sufi Urs gatherings too.

I haven't been able to calm down since seeing that video from Quetta. My wife is a doctor and has served in public hospitals. She must have encountered people like the attacker during her work. It easily could have been her, or any woman doctor working in such environments.

Every woman deserves to feel safe at work. When doctors and healthcare workers have to fear violence while doing their jobs, it reflects a deeper failure to protect those who serve society. Pakistan is a failed nation and is not a country where women can work safely.
