Hard disagree on this headline and thrust of the oped - yes the decision is good for business.
More importantly, people keep thinking IAA only impacted oil & gas. It’s a disaster for every sector it touches, including the ones we need to meet net zero. https://t.co/GaMD5zUdaH
@ExnerPirot Vital Metals was never really a player in Canada's rare earth market. I wouldn't worry.
Canada has many advanced rare earth companies.
Defense Metals Corp's property is the most advanced project in North America.
Ucore's separation tech has captured the U.S. Defense attention.

It was a whirlwind week at the Nunavut Trade Show (NTS) in Iqaluit, where senior Baffinland leaders were busy strengthening our relationships with Nunavut’s top politicians, Inuit groups, other businesses, investors, entrepreneurs and the general public. They also made some critical new connections along the way.
Team Baffinland was proud to showcase how we embody our company’s vision and values in every aspect of our operations, and pleased to highlight the pivotal role of Nunavut’s high-grade iron ore in the global transition to zero emissions. We also shared details about our Inuit recruitment efforts, and our extensive training programs, which help prospective and current employees reach their full potential.
We would like to thank Nunavut Premier P.J. Akeeagok for his support for Baffinland during his keynote speech at the NTS, and for sitting down with our senior staff and regional partners, for an important conversation about the future of development in the territory.
We were proud to be Corporate Sponsors of this 30th anniversary of the NTS, hosted by the Baffin Regional Chamber of Commerce. Thank you to everyone who came by the Baffinland booth. We can’t wait to see you at next year’s Nunavut Trade Show & Conference, September 16 – 19th, 2024. Save the date!
