In the Game Boy Advance version of Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, one of the game's endings has SpongeBob wish for him and his friends to star in their own video game.
The artwork for said ending is based on the game "Legend of the Lost Spatula" done by the same developer.
The game "SpongeBob: Legend of the Lost Spatula" has a unique error message when inserted into an original Game Boy.
It depicts a screenshot of Spongebob with an expression based on the episode "Hooky" with text stating that it can only be played on the Game Boy Color.
In the Bikini Bottom map featured in the SpongeBob DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the Krusty Krab's Galley Grub menu line up is taken from the Season 3 episode "Krusty Krab Training Video".
It even keeps the error in which Krabby Patty is misspelled as "Krabby Pattie."
In Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the Patty Wagon appears as vehicle in the SpongeBob SquarePants DLC.
Unlike its original counterpart from the first film, it contains an orange spoiler on the back.
This is actually a detail taken from a RC Toy released back in 2015.
In the Season 15 episode of SpongeBob SquarePants titled "Smartificial Intelligence", Bubble Bass makes a minor appearance he explains to Perch Perkins how he dropped his jar of pickles.
You can tell in his eyes that the experience has haunted him.
In the Season 15 episode of "SpongeBob SquarePants" titled "Biscuit Ballyhoo", Bubble Bass appears briefly as a customer that Squidina and Squidward try to sell biscuit boxes to.
He is left unimpressed by Squidward's outfit, telling him: "Your cosplay is terrible"
@ArtofSpongebob I've lost count of how many times I've seen both this and the Complete Second Season DVD trailer, they're both insanely nostalgic for me as a result. https://t.co/bR7r98SACG
In the Season 14 episode "Snow Yellow", Bubble Bass appears playing the role of the Huntsman.
He is sent by the queen to cut the trims of Snow Yellow but ends up warning him instead.
He is then fed to a shark for disobeying but makes another appearance near the end.
In the Season 14 episode of SpongeBob SquarePants titled "Tango Tangle", it is revealed that Bubble Bass and his mother won the Undersea Tango Championship three years in a row.
They were the best till Ray Ray and Karen showed up.
In the Season 13 episode of SpongeBob SquarePants titled "FUN-Believable", Bubble Bass makes a cameo at the start of the episode.
Squidward complains about how gross he is as part of his show "Everyone is Horrible".
Which he ain't wrong, my man went to the Chum Bucket like why.
I'm still holding out hope for Arle from Puyo Puyo.
However, I don't think any other DLC character could top these two for me. That art is just another reminder of how insane this is to me.
My past self has finally gotten her dream of playing as Patrick in a game with Knuckles.
In the Season 13 episode of SpongeBob SquarePants titled "Sea-Man Sponge Haters Club", Bubble Bass states that he's find SpongeBob a tad spongey but not bad.
He shockingly isn't the first character to given their thoughts on SpongeBob as a meal.
In the Season 14 episode of SpongeBob SquarePants titled "BassWard", Bubble Bass' line "You wouldn't like me when I'm hungry!" is a reference to The Hulk's line "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry!".
Recently went through the entirety of Season 12 to check out the episodes I haven't seen till now and rewatch the ones that I remembered enjoying.
So I thought I'd share what my top 10 favorites of the season were. To anyone who sees this, what is your fav episode of Season 12?
Which ends up making for a really fun dynamic between the two that stands out from a lot of SpongeBob's other dynamics. I hope at some point, we can get a bit more of this energy back.
I'd say this is my main gripe with post Season 1 Bubble Bass.
As much as I like what came afterwards and feel it is overall a pretty solid direction for the character, I think they lost a bit of that initial charm with him at the same time.
I think Bubble Bass tied into this because as SpongeBob himself says, Bubble Bass is a picky eater. So, SpongeBob takes pride in the idea of getting someone like him to acknowledge he did good.
But Bubble Bass is also the type of character who wouldn't want to compliment him.
