@WiriLomiel Oh I def want him to have a full skeletal form too, so those kinds of deep sea horror fish will make great examples.

A more monstrous form is something I kept in mind when designing the twins. A general humanoid form to lure in prey and a more monstrous “true” form.

Feel like doing Mer stuff again so rough drafting some design ideas for Gen.

Havnt decided on any specific kind of fish to base him on yet, I just know I want his tail to have a ghostly skeletal look. Which means I gotta practice drawin bones again ┐(´～｀ˇ)┌

@WiriLomiel I'm so glad you see the vision😭 those were my exact thoughts when picking the betta for for them.

Thematically Genkishi is a bit complex and nothing stands out that fits him that perfectly. So he lacks a solid foundation to pull from. Makes my art process a bit more tedious.

Khr characters have the most deranged hair and the source material is NOT consistent with how any of it looks, so when I draw it I just have to bullshit my way to it being somewhat recognizable as the character

The idea of Genkishi getting more flustered by his worth being acknowledged by someone than by them being straight ready to ride him is very cute to me.

He comes off as the type of person that's stone cold on the outside but feels a LOT and keeps it all bottled up.
