Mirroring an accent is so common, I get my boss Indian accent when I'm talking with him, I mix British pronunciation from time to time and that's normal.
When talking in Spanish with my friend who lives in Spain I get her accent too, and that's my mother language

I dislike how some people are treating the accent switch up that Joon does when he's talking to someone who's British. Saying he sounds like AI or that hybe needs a team that will help correct it for him. He's Korean. English is his second language. It's mostly on IG I'm seeing
