@HodlMagoo Agree about herd mentality. Unfortunately, in this case, the most paranoid and unreasonably meticulous thinkers were right. Multisig with diff vendors, DIY entropy, etc. Unrealistic for mainstream, but where we’re at. Two steps forward, one step back.

Adding for new folks: nothing you do to your ColdCard (destroy, etc.) will make a bad seed phrase safe; hardware wallet is like a keychain and someone found a key to your house. Need to make a new key (seed phrase) & move BTC there.

It’s on them to demonstrate a person is not documented before detaining as they have no grounds for detaining citizens. Uncertainty is their problem, not ours.

I live in MN and ICE is assaulting and abducting people off the street, checking their identities, then if they are citizens they are released (often beat up and in a different location). Unconstitutional.
