Congratulations to Andrew Calderon as the Joliet Herald soccer player of the year. Ethan Koranda joined him on the first team while goalie Nolan Skedel was selected for the 2nd team. Junior defender Cayle Bomstad was honorable mention. Great job men!

Minooka (18-2) beat Plainfield South 4-0 tonight in the Regional semis. They play BBCHS at 10am Saturday at home trying to win only the 6th boys soccer regional in schools history. Good luck men!

Minooka boys soccer has never had an All State player…we now have 2!!! Congratulations to Andrew Calderon and Ethan Koranda on being named 2025 All State players.

Minooka beat Andrew 3-0 tonight. Goals were scored by Andrew Calderon, Jamie Franson & Aldo Escobedo. Ethan Koranda had 2 assists. The Indians ended up with a record of 17-2….the greatest regular season in school history! So proud of these young men!!

Minooka (16-1) beat Plainfield North 4-1. Goals were scored by Armani Davenport, Jamie Franson, Ethan Koranda, and Aldo Escobedo. Ethan and Aldo each had 2 assists. Great work fellas!

Minooka (15-1) beat Plainfield South 4-1. Goals were scored by Armani Davenport, Aidan Gubbins, and 2 by Andrew Calderon. Assist came from the Koranda brothers…1 from Seth and 2 from Ethan. Great job men!

Minooka moved to 14-1 with a 5-2 win over LWW. Goals were scored by Aldo Escobedo, Jamie Franson and a hat trick by Andrew Calderon. Assists were from Brian Ngong, Jamie Franson, and Buc Petrovic.

Minooka gets a goal by sophomore Aldo Escobedo in the last 8 minutes to send the game vs Plainfield Central to penalty kicks. The Indians eventually lost in pks. They are now 12-1 and 6-1 in conference.

Minooka (12-0) won in pk’s tonight. The lone goal was scored by Aldo Escobedo and the assist was from Ethan Koranda. Goalie Nolan Skedel saved 2 pk’s and Jamie Franson stuffed the game winner. Great job men!

Minooka (11-0), beat Romeoville 4-0 scoring 4 in the 2nd half. Goals were scored by Aldo Escobedo (2), Jamie Franson and Elijah Slavik. Assist were by Ethan Koranda (2), Andrew Calderon (1), and Aidan Gubbins (1). It was the 8th shutout of the year for the Indians!

The 10-0 Minooka Indians won 4-0 tonight. Goals were scored by Brian Ngong, Jamie Franson, Armani Davenport, and Ethan Koranda. Koranda also had an assist. It was the 7th shutout of the season! Great team effort by everyone!
