[STATEMENT]

Hello, ENGENEs.

We are The 7th Movement, an ad hoc committee that was formed on a whim in order for our call against BE:LIFT and its mistreatment towards ENHYPEN. For years, ENGENEs have endured and carried the burden of seeing the boys get mistreated and our clamor can only do so much.

We have witnessed how ENHYPEN has always relied on ENGENEs for support. We know how much mistreatment they have endured from the very beginning of I-LAND up until today, where ENHYPEN’s foundation is being shaken to the core because of a member’s withdrawal.

Time and time again, we have witnessed how the company has not let ENHYPEN grow in ways that they wanted. From an outside perspective, it may seem like they have, but this is to be expected of an agency trying to milk the worth of an asset that they have invested in for a very long time. Like every company rooted in money and fame, there is no denial that BE:LIFT had exploited ENHYPEN’s dreams, talents, and time just for them to have the better end of the ordeal.

Today is no different. Once again, the company has shown mistreatment through their handling and management. From terminated partnership contracts, to skewed line distributions, to less exposure in media, to forgotten members in posted content, back and forth touring schedules, members having to perform after the loss of a loved one – need we say more on how the company has done nothing but treat ENHYPEN as robots that give them big revenue? They were not humans in their capitalistic gaze, all they could think of was profit.

ENHYPEN’s timeless expression of their love for ENGENEs is not simply fan-service. Because if it were, then they wouldn’t have cried when they sang Blossom. They wouldn’t have written Shout Out, a testimony of their endless drive to be with us when the world keeps on confining us into the paradigms of life. They wouldn’t have written Highway 1009, wherein they ask for us to stay a little bit more. ENHYPEN and ENGENE have long been hand-in-hand against whatever life has thrown towards us. ENHYPEN and ENGENE have long been returning the love each has shown the other.

We know that today hasn’t been easy for us, and that today is only the beginning. The fight is far from over, but we have something that they don’t: each other. In these times, please remember to stay vigilant of what we see online: it is important that we remain focused on our goal. We cannot let ourselves be deterred by BE:LIFT’s actions regarding Heeseung’s activities moving forward. Now more than ever, ENHYPEN needs our support. We must continue to show up for them every day until our complaints are addressed and our demands are fulfilled. We, ENGENEs, were able to come together and work hard to make our seven boys debut on I-LAND, and again, it is up to us ENGENEs to keep our ENHYPEN as seven.

So, ENGENE, like the last line of Highway 1009 that Heeseung himself sings – can we stay with them forever?
