New display in the children's library.

Today is #HobbitDay because both Bilbo and Frodo Baggins were born on September 22nd. Normally we'd shire a hobbit pun or two but it might just feel like a tolkien gesture and we don't want to embarrass our elves. Anyway come and boromir #Tolkien books.
A new Roald Dahl display in the library - and a lunchtime reading of creepy classic The Witches for Friday the 13th next week. Unsure whether to invite Anjelica Huston or Anne Hathaway... 🧙♀️🪄 🐭
Congratulations to Mr Hynd and the S5 Nautilus (formerly ROV) who last week were recognised for their commitment to excellence by the Society for Underwater Technology at Subsea Expo last week. “The President’s Award” was presented to them for their outstanding achievements. 👏
A Duck is not just for Christmas - but I received this Christmas gift from a pupil in the library today.
Secreted in a nest of Tinsel, looking quite dapper and possibly hiding from Paparazzi or Santa - happy holidays, folks!.
