Little bonus round at the bottom here, the tutorial in the clip is wrong about HUD. It says "at the top of your HUD", but the minimap and health bar on top left and right would be considered HUD. So it's actively misinforming her.

Why should she be expected to just know what HUD means? It isn't explained anymore because it's ubiquitous in gaming culture at this point, but she wasn't there for any of that. Why should she have to reverse engineer it? 1/5

I learned how to navigate a 3D videogame enviroment when I was 4 on the N64, I snuck onto my dad's computer and learned how to play unreal tournament without tutorials, without guidance, without help from anyone. I got good at it without even being able to READ

I also started gaming at 4, and I was a monster at Elmo's Alphabet Adventure. But people lived different lives from mine and don't receive and absorb info the same way as me as a result. I don't think this position of yours helps anything but your own gaming superiority complex.

Yes, you see that right. A 14 year old game's cutscene looks ten times better than the latest release. We went from the level of Rockstar to Ubisoft. Cutscenes evolved, but backwards.
