@txtbks Encourages us to think about strategy in 3 ways: Build out infrastructure to make OER "easy" to adopt, Change the political economy re: course materials (make part of tuition?), and reframe the value proposition of OER to connect to pressing advocacy issues. #MIOER

"Looking Back, Looking Forward" is a great theme for this year's #MIOER Summit. At Thursday's keynote, @txtbks highlights the insidious things large publishers have been recently trying: marketing "equitable access" and shifting to subscription services that look like Netflix.
