The Crusaders battled a talented Algonac team yesterday in the regional semifinals winning 7-2.

@JacobKouba32668 started on the hill going 4.2 strong innings with 6 k’s and 1 ER. He also went 2-4 with a big double and a RBI to extend the lead in the top of the 7th. @rudy_hauss23 was also 1-3 on the day with a RBI, SB and 3 runs scored. @LLindhurst2027 was 2-2 with a double and walk with 1 batted in. @BrennanGoebel29 added a RBI which ultimately proved to be the winning run in the top of the third, he added a SB as well. @NickOberdier closed the game and picked up the save going 2.1 with 4 K’s and surrendering one hit.

Lutheran Northwest takes on Ovid Elsie on Saturday in Millington at 12:30.
