Process was easy, complete about an hour’s worth of forms online, go to SFO for a 10 minute interview and got approved on the spot.

Total cost: $99 fee ($100 + 1% cashback on cc), $8 parking at SFO. Works out to about $1.15 per month if you stretch it over 8yrs

I now have a TSA Global Entry/Pre Check license for the next 8 years. I mean, technically it’s 5, but:

- Did the interview just after my bday, the 5 year period starts after your following bday, so almost an extra year
- 24 month grace period after expiration to renew

Did a ton of yard work with my mom this week.

Pros: no ivy on fence
Cons: all the cut ivy is on the ground in front of the house waiting for space in the yard waste bin which will take weeks if not months at which point the ivy will have grown back
