Something happened in my apartment building this week that made me realize how quickly people judge a situation they know almost nothing about. There’s a woman here with a daughter who’s around 13. Neighbors started noticing that the girl often walks home from school by herself, lets herself into the apartment, and stays alone most evenings. Madonna's eldest son, Rocco, Reminisced about the role he played in keeping his parents connected as friends after their messy divorce. He shared these thoughts
during his recent visit to his art collection Gallery.

According to the Report, Rocco recalled how, when his parents split, his mother wanted to take him away from his father which would have cut off his dad's access to him completely. But even as a young kid, he chose to stay with his father. Madonna was furious and stopped talking to him for a while. But she couldn't stay away for long. She started calling to check on him, and sometimes she'd even call his dad just to see how he was doing.

That's how they kept talking because of him. They even came together in 2025, again because of him. Rocco admitted he doubts things would have turned out the same if he had chosen to live with his mother instead. In the end, he thanked both of his parents for supporting his career and promised to make them proud.
