"why were you sharpening a machete" because it was found out in the desert and was beat to shit and I like weapons, god fucking forbid a woman have a hobby smh
had a dream where I dismembered alois bernholdt xenoblade with a big fucking machete (that probably showed up because I was sharpening that exact same machete earlier that day irl) and it was awesome I'm gonna think about that whenever I feel sad because I hate him
lukewarm take but: if you start off your literary analysis with "If you didn't like this story or ending, you just don't understand it" I automatically assume you're in bad faith and stop listening.
think i'm just gonna go insane and tweet cryptic shit on this account instead of posting anything worthwhile because my heart is full of rage and this place pisses me off
how it feels to hate the ending of a story or media so much you decide to become delusional instead and make your own ending that isn't complete and utter dogshit out of sheer spite
the monolithsoft writers wrote an epilogue so ass it killed the x fandom and it never recovered. they did the narrative equivalent of smashing their dick in a car door and thought it was a good idea. masterful gambit
@StarlightKick Wish I could say I was happy, because then I could at least say I felt something regarding the series's future.
All I can seemingly find in there is...seemingly just apathy, now.
either way, X fans get screwed over in the end, regardless of opinions on the ending.
i know she's a failure but i can't bring myself to hate her she's like the windows vista of planes. like...i get it. my future and hope was destroyed by the people in power too hon, let's take paxil on the taxiway together
-had any hope of a future ruined by the pandemic
-screams when spooling up
-built different (incorrectly)
-looks tense all the time (those engines are hiked up mighty high, just like my shoulders)
-known for like three things, all of them bad or weird
@sorayatokyo This is not a statement of fact, rather just an observation from myself being in the fandom for over a decade. Ultimately I just don't engage with it anymore, it gets too lonely, especially as someone who doesn't experience relationships like most people.
@sorayatokyo -may just be me not catching on, or me failing to understand things. Ultimately the close friendships between characters was what drew me in to the series at first, so it gets a little lonely seeing romance get pushed so much so often as the pinnacle of human experience.
