The crypto market continues to be heavily influenced by large players, particularly in the altcoin sector, where liquidity remains extremely low. Under these conditions, relatively little capital is needed to trigger sharp price movements, fuel fear, hit stop-loss orders and create seemingly irrational volatility. Taking a few small losses here and there is all part of the game – don’t worry!
Paradoxically, this phase can be positive. The longer the market goes through a phase of compression, distribution and selection, the more speculative excesses, weak projects and participants lacking a real strategy are weeded out. It is a process that cleanses the market and builds a more solid foundation.
The healthiest and most enduring bull runs rarely arise from immediate euphoria: they are often preceded by long periods of boredom, mistrust and low participation. When liquidity returns and sentiment begins to improve, a market that has already absorbed much of the selling pressure will be more likely to develop a more sustainable and less fragile trend.
In other words, what many see today as weakness may simply be the necessary phase for laying the foundations of the next major move.
GM guys
Well, all I did was stick to the plan I’d outlined a few days ago.
In the end, all it took was two simple lines on the chart: a distribution zone at the top and an accumulation zone at the bottom.
The market followed the plan almost perfectly, confirming once again that the best analyses are often the simplest. A weekly close above 61k would suggest a temporary bottom at these levels, forming a range and allowing us to trade again on the lower timeframes.
Breaking below 60k on the weekly chart would push the price lower.
These have been days when I’ve deliberately kept my leverage low. I’ve never pushed it too hard, I haven’t chased the market and, above all, I haven’t increased my position sizes to look for trades where there weren’t any. I’ve made a few trades on some shitcoins but without ever going overboard!
This is precisely what makes my approach different from that of most traders. When the market offers little, I do little. When conditions aren’t favourable, I protect my capital rather than seeking action at all costs.
But this mindset doesn’t come out of nowhere. It’s the result of years spent poring over charts, of mistakes made, of stops hit and of lessons learnt, often the hard way. Experience teaches you that you don’t always have to be in a position to make money and that, at certain times, the best trade is simply to wait.
My greatest lesson has not been learning how to make more money, but learning when not to trade, when to reduce risk and when to remain patient. It is a lesson that takes years of experience to learn, but one that makes all the difference in the long run.
