Brooch, gold plaques decorated with composition of a bird, a nest with eggs ( pearls), and forget-me-nots ( enamelled in blue). Fitted with a locket back which contains a lock of hair, possibly made by Harry Emanuel of London, 1855-73. Victoria & Albert
Caught The Last Voyage of the Demeter at FrightFest. I'd heard mixed things, but it's a solid horror movie (a bit meandering in the middle). It looks beautiful, and the monstrous version of Dracula is scary. Strays from the source material, but pretty much all Dracula movies do.
Really enjoyed @MirrySpraggs talk today on found #dolls. We really do forget that people from the past enjoyed having a bit of fun with friends and co-workers. Sometimes it really is just fun & games 😊
