@vmaryluvskatliv@greenleaf7777 Obviously she isn’t the best “writer” but she is an excellent storyteller which is often more important than beautiful prose, because it sucks you in as a reader. Also, what do you mean when you say nachos?
@vmaryluvskatliv Listen, I would be fine with Elriel end game, but the were written in such a downward spiral for ACOSH that SJM would quite literally ruin ACOTAR if she made them endgame at this point. Also sjm has changed her love interest for Azriel 3 times since ACOMAF.
@sylverblueliz@ladyblodeuwedd Everyone seems to forget adoption is an option and SJM was adopted. I am more pro Gwynriel but I hate the argument as well 🩷
@vmaryluvskatliv@Ieiarey So how come Elain doesn’t even get a pic in her own endgame ship’s book but Gwyn does—in Azriel’s chapter no less? And how come Elriel is so toxic in this book?
@vmaryluvskatliv Also why did SJM write Elriel both at their lowest points? Why is Azriel losing his identity to be with Elain? Why is Elain asking about bedrooms instead of listening to his childhood trauma. Why doesn’t she get a pov in her own ship?
@vmaryluvskatliv She’s not writing Gwyn as suspicious. Gwyn is the most traumatized female character and embodies survival. There’s no way. I used to be an Elriel until I asked myself wtf did SJM even write Gwyn and Az together on paper. There’s rly only one reason, and it’s that they’re mates
@vmaryluvskatliv To add, why did SJM write Gwyn’s POV, specifically in an Azriel chapter/ and not a single one of Elain? It’s just basic foreshadowing? Or what?? Oh just absolutely nothing according to Elriels… nothing to see here, move along everyone lol
