@diaryofa9jagirl They need to see a financial advisor to understand their true financial picture and when retirement can happen. We don't have the full picture but empathy is needed from the wife to her husband. He is clearly burnt out and needs a break.

@diaryofa9jagirl If 80% is all they can afford, then the children should use loan for the rest. The dipping into the savings is not clear, is it his personal savings or the family one, have a talk but you can't force him to work if he is covering mortgage and you are a doctor earning well.
