Had a wonderful night conversing with @johnharris1969 at the @FestOfDebate.
His book is beautifully written; filled with music, love, laughter & pain many parents face, trying to walk the path of getting our Autistic kids needs acknowledged & met.

"It's great that the human race has autistic people, because having the ability and capacity to see the world in a different way is really important"

It's arrived, so I'll be in hibernation reading "Maybe I'm Amazed", by @guardian's multiple award-winning writer, journalist, podcaster and presenter @johnharris1969.
I am looking forward sitting down with a @FestOfDebate audience to discuss his new book. https://t.co/Nw2VPE2yvr
I'm Autistic, in the UK and this happens everytime I try to get tickets for an artist I like.
The entire process is prejudiced towards neurodivergent people @TicketmasterCS@Ticketmaster@TicketmasterUK
How exciting & humbling to be amongst so many fabulous candidates.
Thank you for the nomination @SHSCFT & @SalmaYasmeen_1
and the opportunity to continue my mission towards an equitable city. Looking forward to the event @wearepower_net#WeArePoWEr#NPWAwards
Thanks @SAYiTSheffield for inviting me to your 'International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) event. Loved chatting with our Lord Mayor, @JaynePDunn & her son Thomas, about work we do to ensure we have an equitable team of 'Experts by Experience'
Our Human Rights officer, is the only one in any mental health trust in the UK. Tallyn Grant is fantastic at delivering our Human Rights Practitioner course.
It's helping us to administer more equitable, antiracist and anti ableist care at @SHSCFT
The first time I've taken our @SHSCFT 'Engagement and Experience' team stall out since I've returned from nursing a broken wrist.
Always love attending @SAYiTSheffield events.

I'm always inspired by @zoelou2325. Loving hearing about her PhD in understanding why newly qualified mental health nurses are leaving the profession.

I'm Autistic @HelenBevan, it feels impossible to do. In fact, I often ruminate so badly on my work that I have to open the laptop.
It's the only way I'm granted reprieve
At the end of a working day, when we shut down the tabs on all of our devices, we should shut down the tabs in our heads too. Five ways to do this:
1) Savour an indulgence
2) Mindful breathing
3) Share a compliment
4) Get some fresh, outdoor air
5) Practice gratitude
