Yesterday, we had the privilege of spending the evening at the Humberside Police Federation Bravery Awards, where the heroic duo, PC Tom Marsden and PD Yoiko, received their Federation Bravery Award, with Yoiko attending the ceremony in a very dapper tuxedo.

Back in 2024, PC Marsden and PD Yoiko detained a
violent suspect armed with a shovel inside a building that had been set on fire. During the incident, Yoiko put himself in harm’s way to protect PC Marsden and prevent the suspect from harming other officers at the scene. Together, they bravely and successfully arrested the suspect.

Their extraordinary bravery saw them receive the Thin Blue Paw Outstanding Bravery Award last year, and yesterday’s recognition was truly well deserved. 👏💙🐶🇬🇧
