In theory, I am against giving tax breaks to wealthy sports owners to build new stadiums. The examples are too plentiful where it does not benefit citizens. However, I do understand the urge to want to keep your teams in state. The teams should always be the ones to compromise.

A journalism article or a newspaper is something to sell. But there needs to be a return to the notion of journalism as a public good. However, the funding model needs to change for that to happen. People need to believe their subscriptions are contributing to a higher calling.
