@angeladunn6 Clearly lots of work to be done in these areas! I used to witness this when watching my younger brother play. Shaming a child like that for showing emotion is awful π.

@hannahgib81 I prefer 'single parent' and I think that's because of the stigma that tends to follow 'single mum'. I relate it too strength, courage, determination, resilience, judgment, exhaustion, battles and pressure. It has been the hardest but most rewarding experience of my life.
@angeladunn6 My sons school used to do 'King or Queen for the day' every half term. Children who were selected had to read their books consistently throughout the term. They got to wear a crown and sit on a throne. I thought it was disgusting. What are you teaching children with that reallyπ³
