Seriously, WHO looks at teachers and thinks: Wow, these folks have loads of spare energy. They should teach for MORE hours each day!

After studying teacher’s daily lives for nearly 4 years, our overwhelming evidence is that their days are really long and really packed!

@MichaelRosenYes @caffein8edsoul As a secondary teacher currently experiencing this, it is a farce! My students are stressed and exhausted; I am at breaking point and am spending very little time with my own children right now! The whole things is an absolute shambles!!

You said that GCSE exams for this year were cancelled. They're not cancelled. They're called 'assessments'. And instead of examiners marking them, teachers are. For no money. But the schools have paid the exam boards. Where's the money?

@edmunds_dr @caffein8edsoul I couldn't agree more. I was saying this only yesterday! The farce surrounding this year's 'non-existent' exams is a shambles!!! More stress, uncertainty and work not just for teachers but students also!

@libertyglobal and @Virgin not entirely sure what kind of show you are running but it is a shambles! Every time I ask a question that staff do not want to answer, they hang up. 4 hours in total we have spent on the phone to them. This is a disgrace.
