#SaferInternetDay2023 This week we discussed what online activities we enjoy. We played the “Can you help me?” board game and answered questions based on different scenarios and who we might ask for help. We then shared who we would ask for help when using our own devices 📱💻

A big thank you to the families of Dosbarth Amroth who attended Sunday Mass with their children over the weekend. What a wonderful atmosphere in the church hall afterwards where Parishioners and family members enjoyed biscuits made by the children in school on Friday! ⛪️

We also used our measuring skills to prepare biscuits to share with the Parish after Mass on Sunday. For many of us, this will be our first experience of Mass after learning all about the Church. The children are really looking forward to attending Church with their families!

We celebrated #NSPCCNumberDay today by going on a number hunt around our school grounds and getting creative with numbers in the cornel creadigol! 🎨 We also donated money and enjoy a number cake whilst watching Numberblocks! Llawer o hwyl! 🔢🧮

🎄Dosbarth Amroth have had a very festive week this week with a Christmas trip to FF dance studio for a Christmas workshop! We walked smartly to & from the studio & enjoyed making melted snowman cookies, decorating wreaths & singing and dancing along to Christmas songs!🎄

Diolch to our first group of families who have thrown themselves into the world of imaginative play. Over the last couple of weeks we have been developing our #physicalliteracy skills whilst on a ‘Pirate Adventure!’ I wonder where next week will take us? 🏴‍☠️ #parentalengagement

We have loved celebrating #worldnurseryrhymeweek this week! We have investigated, created and explored each of the nursery rhymes aswell as singing, following actions and signing them. Gwaith arrderchog pawb! 👏🏼🎶

Today we marked #RemembranceDay by placing our clay poppies on display, “Peace is in our hands” paintings and used different techniques to create poppies and camouflage soldiers. We also stood respectfully with the rest of the school for a 2 minute silence. #LestWeForget

This week we have been celebrating ‘Reading week’ with a visit to our local library where we explored the different reading materials available. The children represented the school impeccably and are so excited to take their grown ups to the library to choose their own books! 📚

This week, we have been learning about the Sacrament of Baptism. We used nearly learnt vocabulary to reenact our own whilst exploring the symbols of Baptism. We ended our week with a music appreciation session. Today’s theme was ‘#Diwali disco!’ Wythnos Gwych!#EthicalandInformed

🍌 #AmserSnac 🍽Over the last few weeks we have been developing our independence to lead our own snack time. We wash our hands, collect our plate & snack, pour ourselves a water or milk & sit around the table. We especially love washing up afterwards! 🧼 #Leadership #Independence

📚Whatever Next!📦Today, we listened to the story ‘Whatever Next’ and explored different sized and shaped cardboard boxes to go on our own adventures. We had lots of fun using our imaginations to create new experiences and even made accessories for our journeys. Gwaith da pawb!✨

🕌 Islam🕌 We have thoroughly enjoyed learning all about Islam this week and how people prepare to enter the mosque before praying. We explored how to use a prayer mat before designing our own! Gwaith hyfryd pawb!
