@AndyWoodturner Can you get her a smart watch? I think some of them can be set up to call an emergency contact when they detect the wearer has a fall. Doesn’t solve the rubbish BT problem but gives a bit of extra emergency cover.
@AndyWoodturner I don’t mind it a bit runny to be honest, easier to mix through yoghurt or mascarpone for a cake filling but it does tend to slide off the toast.
@lizaadamczewski My husband wants to learn harmonica but every time he picks it up and plays the dog starts singing and he has to stop playing because he’s laughing so much.
My son, Indy, is doing another epic fundraising walk for Ukrainian refugees and displaced families via the United Nations Refugee Agency @Refugees. In 2023, he walked the ancient Ridgeway path in high summer raising over £4k; this year, he is walking the 102-mile Cotswold Way in the depths of winter, photographing the Ukrainian flag in the changing landscape as he goes. If your New Year's resolution is to support the most vulnerable people in our world, the people at the frontline of geopolitical turmoil and aggression, then why not donate through Indy! Even the smallest amount makes a huge difference and shifts the balance in the world from despair to hope. https://t.co/IA8YLW3i0b

@superchris_hol@the_beeguy I’ve noticed our bees like to suck water out of wet soil so if you fill a bowl with soil and keep it very wet (like a mini marsh) that might work as the mosquitoes won’t lay eggs in that.
Sales are pretty dire so far this month, I would jump for joy if any of you fancied placing an order with me. If not, a share would be hugely appreciated! It’s tough out there for us all right now and the small things help in big, big ways! 💛

@AndyWoodturner I have heard that there is a town in China that has been renamed USA for that exact reason - they can say anything made there was ‘made in USA’ (don’t know how true it is but nothing surprises me anymore!).

Yesterday afternoon my wife took the twins out with her sisters for a meal in Archway, North London whilst I took Henry to to the pub with our friends. My daughter Darla had a fit (febrile convulsion) whilst they was walking towards the restaurant on the pavement outside Home Bargains. A young couple helped my wife and her sister. And took them to whittington hospital straight away in their car. My wife didn’t get a chance to say thank you properly as she run in whilst my baby still having a fit. Darla is now stable and doing well and back home. But I really want to thank this couple. They are absolute Legends and hero’s. Can you all please help me find this lovely young couple who helped my family. I want to thank them and treat them as they took Sinéad and baby Darla to the hospital very quickly and if they wasn’t there it could have been another story. Darla is her happy little self this morning and back to normal. Thanks you every one and happy Sunday. Now both twins have had a febrile convulsion, they are extremely scary. Thank you to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Whittington Hospital. If you know this couple please can you give me their number or email. Thank you. Please share or rt. Bosh❤️
@AndyWoodturner That’s why I always wear gloves! Plus when the dog takes off after something they stop my hands getting cut to ribbons by the lead running through at high speed.

@brenenwynd@DrAllyLouks I read somewhere that dogs can adapt to losing their sight or hearing but if they lose their sense of smell they really struggle.
