Y2 Fire Engine Visit - 🔥🚒🧯 Thankyou to Wellington Fire Service who talked to us about the importance of fire safety. Our children were able to tell the Firefighters all about the equipment used back in 1666 when the GFOL happened. They were VERY impressed @HLC_Primary 🧑‍🚒❤️‍🔥

What a fantastic afternoon 2B have had being nurses 👩‍⚕️We wrapped our arms/legs up in bandages, explored a wide variety of artefacts and even made dandelion medicine and bread poultice to help treat the wounded soldiers... 🏥 Superb job nurses, Florence would be proud @HLC_Primary

Year 2 Parent Curriculum Afternoon...It was a pleasure to have Year 2's parents in this afternoon, thankyou for coming. We researched and found out lots of key information about King Charles III and Henry VIII that will help with our writing lesson this week. 👑@HLC_Primary

Yesterday was a very exciting day in school as we voted for our new Student Parliament and posted our votes into the ballot box. We cannot wait to see who will be representing 2B... 🗳️💫😀

2B were truly immersed in the hospital that Florence Nightingale worked in 🏥🪔. The children used amazing adjectives to describe what they could see, smell, feel, and hear 👀👃✋👂. The 'revolting' hospital was 'putrid' and 'dreadful' 🤮. Well done 2B! @HLC_Primary

2B Library Friday! On Friday - we were extremely lucky to experience our first Library session thanks to @mrscouzens1 📕 We thoroughly enjoyed reading our books and having some story time...📚💫✨ @HLC_Primary #storytime #bookworms 🪱
