A great first week back! We’ve started our new topic on World War Two, been working towards writing adventure stories and enjoying reading Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo.
Here’s a couple of pictures of what we’ve been up to so far😊
This afternoon I'm off to the big smoke, heading to our final leg of the @southbankcentre#ImagineAStory book tour, which @LoveSsega and I will be doing.
Here's an illustration from the tour show featuring our heros & the mythical True True birds, as written by @SitaBrahmachari
So impressed with some of the attention to detail from Year Five with their observational drawings as part of our architecture Art unit! Super work😊 #wroxhamart @WroxhamSchool

Some of use went on to add bars to show what other periods where happening concurrently alongside the ancient Greeks (Ancient Egypt, the Maya Civilisation, the Bronze Age and Iron Age)
Year Five have been learning about the Ancient Greeks. We researched the key periods in the ancient Greek civilisation and created timelines to show how many years each period lasted! #wroxhamhistory @WroxhamSchool @LucySanderswrox
Thank you to one of our parents for being a Mystery Reader yesterday and reading one of her favourite stories. #Wroxhameyfs#Wroxhamreading @WroxhamSchool @MissBThomas_
Year 5 really enjoyed their last mini police session today. All about road safety and speed. All the children got to have a go with the speed camera both on the tripod and handheld. @WroxhamSchool @MissBThomas_@MrsLucyWilliams
