4W enjoyed maths rotations in the sun consolidating our knowledge from the year on topics such as decimals, 3D shapes, place value and times tables. @ShacklewellE8
Over the past week in Science @ShacklewellE8, 4W have been observing the damage that certain liquids can cause to our teeth.
We used hard boiled eggs (their shells acting as the tooth enamel) and different liquids to assess the damage.

Some tired legs heading back to school, but was enjoyed with some DEAR time on the bus and recapping on our favourite parts of the day.
Thank you coaches for organising such a fantastic day and to all the families who came along to support and got involved🤩

@ShacklewellE8 In Geography this week, we have been comparing and researching about North America’s regions, cities and their economic activity.
All of 4W had debates about which is the best city based on their economic activity and natural resources. Fantastic collaboration!
Our 4W artists this week were developing their observational drawing skills by incorporate light and texture into their work. The focus was on food and we were left feeling very hungry 🧁
Stay tuned for food based sculptures where we will build on this work. @ShacklewellE8
We visited the British Museum to deepen our learning about Anglo-Saxons and the artefacts that were left in Britain. We also visited Dalston Library which will continue in Summer q
Thank you so much to the parent helpers for being involved- your help is greatly appreciated.
@ShacklewellE8 In 4W we also made our very own lamps in DT (Spring 1) and Pouches in Spring 2.
Thank you to the families for bringing in resources for the students to use to create these pieces.
