Scrubbing up on our times tables in the bandicoots classroom the only way we know how- multiplication wars! Stage 3 find this activity engaging and challenging as they can race their friends to find the answers of multiplication questions!
Wow! This is so important to me as a stage 3 teacher. Students, especially in stage 3 all have different experiences of anxiety and it’s so important to guide these students through these feelings the right way!
@GeorgiaKhoury2 Smiling minds is something I use for my stage 3 class. It’s a free online meditation and yoga unit where you complete mini lessons! My kids love it as it gives them some time to relax before getting into learning!! It’s free you just have to create an account ☺️
In 3/4, we studied the 👂 during our explanations unit I created for the GTPA. Students had the opportunity to complete a series of “learning by doing” tasks to help them understand different processes. This activity was called “ACT IT OUT”. A fun and engaging way to learn!
Working on our letter blends with my support kids today! I’m so pleased with their constant efforts and improvement. Such a joy to watch these students achieve even the smallest of goals 🤩 #acuedu_p#goals#teacher#support#education
A snippet from an email I received after the end of staggered learning. So happy and thankful to be part of such a supportive and amazing team! So happy to be back to face-to-face teaching this week! Such a delight to see so many smiles 🤩✨🌈 #acuedu_p#smile
What a great and quick way to conduct formative assessment at the end of a lesson! Students these days know more about emojis than we do!! 😎😎 #acuedu_p
Loved seeing so many beautiful faces today on our first day back to face-to-face learning. It’s been a long time coming, and I’m so happy to be able to start explicit teaching that incorporates engaging learning experiences! Who else is happy to be back? ✨✨ #acuedu_p#Education
Final EDFD452 tutorial complete! Such a great unit that’s helped me in my development as an educator! Thank you for the semester @Davo452 such a great unit and tutorial group 🙏🏽🙏🏽 #acuedu_p#learning#ACU#education
@caity_will@pchallita1 This is a great activity! When I taught 3D shapes, I even incorporated the game “I am who has”. Also, as an informal assessment at the end of the unit students played ‘celebrity heads’ where they guessed the 3D object using yes/no questions which was a great way to collect data😋
@kirsty1pannu I like to have a slide show prepared with some brain teasers/open ended questions/ riddles... These really help when you have a spare 10-15 minutes throughout the day ☺️
