nobody talks about how people who grew up in broken and dysfunctional homes don’t have big dreams. they only dream of having a home no one can take away and a person who won’t abandon them
NGL I JUST HEARD SOMEONE SAY, “MAYBE YOU DON’T NEED MORE TIME TO HEAL, MAYBE YOU NEED MORE EXPERIENCES THAT SHOW YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM A DIFFERENT REALITY,” AND YEAH… IT ECHOED IN ME
Isn't it funny how after a break up, true colors come out? one of you lays in bed all day, unable to eat, can't even fake a smile, and the other one just moves on like it's nothing.
I used to pray, if he’s not the one for me, please remove him from my life.
But lately my prayer changed, if he isn’t the one for me… guide him, grow him, and make him the one meant for me.
Because sometimes love isn’t about someone leaving.
Sometimes it’s about two people being shaped into who they’re meant to be.
PLEASE give yourself the chance to meet someone new instead of going back to someone from your past who did not cherish you when they had you. Don’t let loneliness or nostalgia trick you into reopening doors that already showed you who they were. You already know how that felt, the confusion, the disappointment, the constant hoping they’d change. You deserve a fresh start with someone who sees your worth immediately, chooses you intentionally, and doesn’t need a second chance to treat you right.
girl to girl: it's okay to be alone. it's okay to have a dry phone. it's okay to be celibate. it's okay to be selfish. it's okay to have high standards. your peace, your pace, your rules🩷🩷🩷
