Well today is officially my first day as a Year 1 teacher!! No children in until Wednesday but all staff back today! I’m nervous but I’m so ready!

Had a really rough day at work yesterday but going to the gym last night cleared my head so much!! Never thought I’d by the type of person to go to the gym after work, I was always ‘too tired’ but it’s amazing how much energy I have after!

@MissClarke_EHU It’s annoying waiting around for busses when they’re late and can be a stress worrying that they’re gonna be late but since September I’ve only been late to work around 3/4 times and it’s usually only 5 minutes. Work are really understanding as long as i message in advance x

@MissClarke_EHU I get 2 busses to and from work, I leave the house at 7:15 and get to work for 8:15 but coming home I leave work at 3:30 and usually get home about 4:45 x

I was loving going to the gym after work as a stress relief but haven’t been in 3 weeks because my knee keeps popping and I don’t want it to dislocate in the middle of the gym🙃 oh the joys of #elhersdanlossyndrome #EDS

@MissEJJ_ I’m currently doing a year working as a TA after not securing an ECT position and I am SO thankful I am!! I’m learning so much and really getting a feel for being in school full time! I was disheartened at first but now I’m so grateful! Xx

The replies in this thread make me happy. Unfortunately my sister’s school did not acknowledge our concerns which is why it took so long for her ASD diagnosis:( She masks so well in school but at home as soon as she can let it all out it can be unbearable💔
