Kids out there getting ready to wrap up the summer baseball season.. take some time to write down the things you did really well on the field and in your preparation this season. Include the specific work you put in that helped you execute these at a high level.

Then, create a list of the areas you need to improve in. Be honest, but be KIND. Include ways you can improve upon these skills heading into the fall and winter. If you are unsure how, that is okay. Figure out WHO can help you learn HOW.

Self-awareness is one of the greatest skills you can develop as a human being and athlete. Use that as your guide into the fall and winter training. Learn how to communicate this to your coaches and parents, so they can help you become the best version of you.

Most importantly, when the season is over, remember to be a KID and go hang out with your buddies!
