@missdcox We give marks, not grades. I tend to give feedback/reteach on areas before they get the paper back. Go through problematic questions. Find that once they get the paper back it’s hard to get them refocused on improvement.

@CharleeWharlee @SlimmingWorld Just get straight back to it tomorrow. Remember it’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle change. I’m sure you will still have lost! I’m on my first week (having done it before) and I’ve messed up one day too- keeping going is the hardest part 👍🏻sending positive vibes

@CBasnett @MarjonTEP @HurrTplt @tombennett71 I dismiss students by name, using the seating plan then after a week or two I try and do it without. Students love it and appreciate the effort. Once I’ve learnt their names, I still dismiss like this as it seems to calm the exit. You’ll find what works for you. Trial and error

So so interesting- after reading this book I looked up places to visit in Scotland using Instagram and found some great spots. That idea that they wanted people to become addicted almost, has worked on me. Great discussion point for students too!

@BusinessTeach11 I can't remember where it was but I really liked the way certain natural beauty spots have seen a surge in visitor numbers - with people waiting in line - to get the perfect pic for the 'gram. Booking your vacation around social media posts. Seems crazy.
