@UofGEducation Graduation today 👩🏻🎓. Just like that my PGDE journey is complete! I have had a wonderful year; I’ve met some wonderful people and cemented my love for teaching along the way 🥰. Can’t wait to get started in august with my very own P2 class 👩🏻🏫❤️

Today we made Koinobori, a carp wind sock that is traditionally used to decorate homes during Children’s Day in Japan. 🎏
We even went outside and flew them in the wind, they looked amazing!
We have been doing Instructional writing in P6 and today we wrote detailed instructions on how to make a Japanese fan! Afterwards we had a go at following the instructions and making them ourselves! How amazing!
Did you know Tokyo has the most neon lights of any place in the World?💡
Primary 6 have been researching Tokyo and the famous neon signs that cover Tokyo’s busy streets! We even made our own using Kanji! Of course I also had a go ✨
How fab are these!🌸As part of our Japan topic, P6 have painted Cherry Blossom trees using a mix of cotton wool balls and paint brushes!🌸

So happy with the results, the children did such a great job of capturing autumn leaves using water colour! Can’t wait to cut these all out and hang them up in the classroom 🎨
