@daniesimone@BrownsvilleES There is a lot more structure in Kindergarten and a new level of rigor in their instruction. With this comes opportunities for students to practice their skills independently and to work with their peers. One support is to foster the CARES Responsive Classroom idea in students.
Today we made practicing our word sorts extra fun by showing a picture from the sort, then blowing a puff ball to the correct sound or word family! It was such a hit! @BrownsvilleES
I just love activities that incorporate multiple units of study! Here students were given a letter and filled an apple with a picture that started with that same letter sound. We then counted how many apples filled our trees! ๐ @BrownsvilleES
